Choose OSM Maritime Global Services as your New Building Supervisor

NEW BUILDING SUPERVISION

For New Building Supervision, OSM offers a full range of services. We offer the clients the option to utilize our expertise throughout the entire procedure, from the design of the ship, until the construction and its delivery to the owner. Alternatively, we provide any à la carte selected service(s) of this process. We know how and we can assist you to build any type of vessel.

An OSM Site Manager is responsible for working closely with each yard, no matter where in the world the yard is located, on all aspects of the construction, from start to finish. This allows us to ensure that the new building is delivered as expected in terms of standards and quality. Additionally, an OSM Site Team monitors the yard’s daily tests schedule, to guarantee that the equipment used is proven to meet specifications and class requirements.

Our department offers two additional services, which are the provision of third-party Dry-docking Supervision Services and Vessel Delivery Supervision Services.

OSM NEW BUILDING PROJECT EXPERIENCE WITH “GREEN ALTERNATIVE FUELS” SHIPS

With the development of Green alternative fuels OSM is at the Vanguard of enhancing technical expertise, sharing with Class and Equipment makers, lessons learned and improvement to recently designed systems and newly created Test and Commissioning procedures. We already have experience working with and building environment-friendly vessels, like the following:

Hybrid LNG Gas – Electric Vessel

The basic principle for the design of this Vessel is to meet operational and environmental demands with the best and most modern solutions using LNG fuel and Battery power for the propulsion, with SRtP requirement. The Vessel is Hybrid Gas-Electric / Battery driven for optimal operation and flexibility in order to reduce fuel consumption, emission, noise and vibration during transit and manoeuvring.

Fully Electric/Hybrid Passenger Vessel

This is a diesel-electric vessel with a larger battery that can be charged from shore in 9 minutes! We observe a significant reduction of emissions and reduction of engine hours as a result of such construction. The electricity cost is low due to the diesel fuel.

Marine Robotic Vessel

This is a unique multi-purpose platform with custom design and technology features allowing onshore remote control, and operations with little or no crew at all. It allows the usage of alternative fuels such as green ammonia. It supports an Integrated Automation System and Power Management System that allows for safe remote operations and cyber-secure communication.
